TRIMBOX CLASS C SURGE ARRESTER

CLASS C SURGE ARRESTER Class C Surge Arresters, which can be found in the unit price schedule under the category of panel-type overvoltage protectors or low-voltage surge arresters with the old item number 718.560 and the new item number 35.115.2100, are used in sub-distribution boards (after the main building entrance), apartment entrances, and on machine lines.

Operating with more sensitivity and a lower discharge capacity compared to Class B, Class C surge arresters are available in 2-pole and 4-pole versions. They have a nominal discharge current of 20kA and a maximum discharge capacity of 40kA at a voltage protection level of <1.4kV.
